He is known for designing the Church of St Michael and All Angels in Forden, Powys in Wales. ==Career== Nicholson became the Hereford Diocese Architect and was working in St Peter's Street, Hereford in 1865.〔Antonia Brodie (ed) Directory of British Architects, 1834-1914: Vol 2, pg1005-6, British Architectural Library, Royal Institute of British Architects, 2001〕 He had an extensive practice in the Welsh Marches.
